
Rich Sentnor
Financial Advisor
Richard Sentnor is an Investment Advisor Representative and co-founder of Advisory Resource Group. Rich specializes in developing and implementing insurance and financial strategies for physicians and their practices. Rich has been implementing these plans with doctors at all levels of their careers since 2001. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1994. He holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations, held with LPL Financial, and the 66 registration, held with LPL Financial and Advisory Resource Group, and is a Massachusetts-licensed insurance broker.
Rich began his career with Arthur Andersen and spent 6 years as an audit manager with the Big 5 accounting firm. In 1999 he began working as an institutional sales executive for Fidelity Investments in Boston. After leaving Fidelity in 2002, Rich started his own practice working exclusively with the medical community. In 2015, his practice was absorbed into Advisory Resource Group. Since 2004 Rich has spoken to the graduates of Harvard University Medical School where he also facilitates a financial literacy program in conjunction with the schools administration. He also speaks regularly at Tufts Medical School, Boston University Medical School, and Umass Medical School to educate graduating doctors on the challenges and opportunities of being a new professional. He is regularly invited to be a part of the resident curriculum at most Boston area teaching hospitals, including Mass General, Beth Israel and Boston Medical Center to name a few.
When Rich is not working, he enjoys playing golf and skiing with his wife, Lee and three children.
