Jim Williamson
James J. Williamson is a native of Norwich, CT. and has been involved in management of Not-for-Profit organizations for all of his career. He was named Executive Director of the Eighth District Dental Society in Buffalo, NY in 1991 and served in that role until December of 2002 when he was named Executive Director of the New Hampshire Dental Society. Jim retired from that position in March of 2015. During his time of working with dentists he served as president of the national associations for both component and state executive directors, and was made an Honorary Member of the American Dental Asso- ciation in 2014. He also received numerous state and national awards during his dental association career. Since his retirement he has worked as a Consultant to both For-Profit and Not-for-Profit organizations.
Dr. Marc Brown
Dr. Brown is the Principal Dental Consultant for Keekeerun, LLC. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 1984, then spent four years as a Navy Dental Officer in locations around the world. He was an associate in a large group practice for three years before starting his own practice in Portsmouth NH. He retired from that practice after 20 years as an independent owner with combined practice management and business skills that allowed steady expansion of production with overhead consistently at or below 55%. He retained long term patients and employees by providing quality service in a supportive environment.
His clinical career of 27 plus years was shortened by an unforeseen medical problem that left him unable to practice dentistry. His disciplined, conservative and organized approach to practice management left him in the financial position to retire at age 52.
Dr. Brown remains committed to contributing to his local dental community through organized dentistry, continuing education, volunteering and mentoring younger colleagues. He currently chairs the SENHDS Peer Review Committee: he maintains active membership in the ADA, NHDS, Association of Retired Dentists, and the Great Bay Dental Studies Group.
